Robert is a New York and New Jersey-licensed attorney who has been practicing law for 43 years. Robert graduated cum laude from Amherst College in 1979. He then received his JD and MBA from the University of Chicago in 1983.
Inspired by his daughter’s passion for the responsible siting of wireless telecommunications equipment, Robert has dedicated his practice in recent years primarily to wireless telecommunications law.
Robert has a unique background. He is a sophisticated, seasoned litigator, with decades of experience as a successful plaintiffs' class action attorney and former BigLaw attorney. Robert has been lead or co-lead counsel on many securities fraud and consumer class actions against many of the world's largest corporations, and has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for class members.
Today, Robert puts his tenacious litigation skills to empowering his clients to fully understand and exercise their rights under federal, state, and local law, including the federal Telecommunications Act of 1996, to control the siting, installation, and operation of wireless facilities. The Firm works with independent radio frequency engineers and scientists, structural and environmental engineers, and landscape architects, to ensure that clients obtain the best independent expert advice on the highly technical subjects that must be addressed when wireless facility applications are considered.
Robert is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association.

Zoe is Robert’s daughter. She is an Oklahoma-licensed attorney who received her BA from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2018 and her JD from Tulane Law School in 2024.
Zoe is a member of the International Municipal Lawyers Association and the Federal Communications Bar Association.
